loaded totchos

(I received free product from #Influenster in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own. #OreIdatotchos #contest)

Tater tots have come a long way since Napoleon stuffed them in his pockets (can you believe that was 12 years ago?!) and today I’m sharing with you an easy and filling recipe for loaded totchos using Ore-Ida Tater Tots.
Sometimes it’s nice to have a recipe that’s really simple to pull together when you don’t have a lot of time on busy weeknights to make a family dinner happen.

Making your own loaded totchos is really simple, You just need a bag of Ore-Ida Tater Tots and whatever you favorite toppings are for baked potatoes! One of my favorite toppings for baked potatoes is chili, but bacon bits would be delicious too!

First things first though, you need to bake your Ore-Ida Tater Tots to a crispy, golden perfection. I like to line my baking sheet with aluminum foil first so that cleanup is a breeze! As soon as you pull your tots out of the oven give them a light sprinkling of garlic salt, and then it’s time to start smothering them in all your favorite toppings!
I chose chili (here is a delicious recipe!), cheese, green onions, sour cream, and broccoli to top my Ore-Ida Loaded Totchos; they were so good! The cool sour cream was a perfect contrast to the hot and crispy tots.

For more totcho recipes you can go to Kraft’s Ore-IdaRecipes page and check out some of the other delicious creations, including Blue Cheese Burger Totchos and Chicken Enchilada Totchos, yum!

  2. I've never been a huge tots fan for the simple fact the texture bothers me but these look like they might be more crisp. Kinda reminds me of a cheese fry type thing...cheese fries = food from heaven may have to try. Thanks for sharing.

    1. Oh yeah, these are really crispy. And Ore-Ida makes an "Extra Crispy" version too that you'd probably like.
