march mantel

As I was thinking about what to put on my mantel this month, I realized how much I was missing the items that I would normally put on my mantel. So for my March mantel I decided to grab my pictures that normally go on the mantel out of the closet and threw them up there. Then I thought, "What says March and St. Patrick's Day more than green and gold?" So I found my gold painted jars and can, and I went outside and cut some branches off our tree. I secured the branches with gravel from our front yard and added a little bit of water, in the hopes that the little green leaves and white flower buds would stay on the branches for awhile.And of course I added my garland form Monday's post. Super simple and it's my favorite mantel in months. :)
