I didn't do the whole month worth of planned meals for all three meals of the day, I just picked out 3 dinners that I liked, added 2 of my own, and made 2 of each, for a total of 10 frozen meals. That's about all my small apartment freezer can handle (and yes, I am a little embarrassed about showing off the giant tub of Nestle cookie dough from Costco, but oh well; also, notice how much room is taken up just by ice? That's crazy!).
I especially love the handy-dandy labels that they provide for everything. They even have blank labels if you want to make your own (which I did).
I also stocked up on rolls and frozen veggies so we'd have some easy sides for our entrees. I don't want the hubby to feel like he has to run out to the store every other day during his paternity leave when he could be spending time with our little dove and our little princess.
I usually plan our meals out 1-2 weeks in advance, but after we move this summer, if our freezer has more room I might start following the Once A Month Mom meal plan because it's so nice to know that all that food is in the freezer and the hard part is already done!
By the way, have you entered the giveaway for a sibling shirt yet? You have one week left!
