car seat canopy

This is the story of a mom who had a little man that she loved very much. She loved all of the "boy" things that came along with her little man, trucks and dinosaurs and blue everything, and was never really sad about "missing out" on pink, frilly, girly things. Then she found out she would be blessed with another little bundle of joy and this one would be a girl; and she was surprised to find that she started getting really excited about pink sleeping gowns and cute dresses.
So this mom decided to sew a new car seat canopy that was girly, totally going against her nature to stick to all things gender-neutral. However, as she walked around Joann's for what seemed like hours, she couldn't find anything pink or even purple that she loved, but she did find a yellow and gray modern floral that she fell in love with and kept going back to. So, although it's not as girly as she originally had planned to make it, she is so glad she went with her gut and got the fabric she did. :)
