congratulations! it's a giveaway!

So, you might be curious what baby #4 for us will be, we sure were.

I posted this yesterday on Instagram and then later in the afternoon Mike and I took the entire gang to my anatomy scan to see if we were having another little girl, or as my son had predicted everyday since we told him about the baby, "A boy baby, because we need to have three boys." As in, daddy, little man, and a new little boy baby; not that there were three babies in my tummy.
Yeah, I freaked out the first time he said it too.
As I predicted, the kids were pretty excited to see the new baby on the screen. Well, at least the two older ones, and at least for awhile. We did have to resort to fruit snacks, suckers, and the tablet, but that's okay. :)
I had had a huge Dr. Pepper before the appointment so the baby was definitely moving around and gave us a really nice view of their, um, anatomy.
So I am soooooooo exited to share the news with you that our newest addition is going to be a....

Yay! We always just pray for a healthy baby, so we would have been thrilled either way, but it will be so fun to have another little girl in the house, especially since they'll all be so close in age! :)

But, of course this means that I have that extra little boy newborn sleep gown just laying around...
so I figured this would be a good time for a giveaway!
But I couldn't stop at just the sleep gown, I have put together an awesome newborn bundle pack for of all sorts of goodies for you!

The winner of this "It's (not) a boy!" Newborn Bundle (Get it? It's NOT a boy?! 'Cause it's not; well, for me it's not, for you it is... ah, you know what I mean!) will be getting a great baby boy gift pack: one California sleep gown, an adorable bib from Carter's, one package of size 1 diapers from The Honest Company, hypoallergenic moisturizer cream from MD Moms, an Aden & Anais muslin swaddling blanket, AND a $25 gift card from Babies R Us! That's a $100 value!

Let's talk about why I choose each of the items, shall we? (Or you can skip ahead and just enter the giveaway, whatever.)

//California Sleep Gown//
Obviously I'm passionate about the items that I create, but I also really do love infant sleep gowns for the first few months of life.  They make middle of the night diaper changes so easy, and my babies have always loved to curl their little legs up inside of them. This will fit most babies for the first 6 months of life, so you'll get a lot of use out of it too!

//Carter's Bib//
My first baby drooled and spit up so much, if he hadn't constantly been wearing a bib then I would have had to change his clothes six times a day! I love the cute designs that Carter's have, and I especially love that this particular bib is reversible.

//MD Moms Baby Skin Moisturizer Cream//
You know I have to give some love to a company that's based in my hometown:) My babies, especially my first, have pretty sensitive skin when they're first born, and I love how gentle these products are! They feel silky smooth going on, and have a nice, fresh, clean scent that's not overpowering. After all, newborns have an amazing scent all their own, right?

//The Honest Company Diapers//
I like what this company stands for, their focus on doing what's right for the environment, and giving back to the community. I also love that they offer a delivery subscription service to try to make a parent's life a little easier. And let's not lie, their designs are flippin' adorable.

//Aden & Anais Muslin Swaddling Blanket//
I have been in love with these since my first baby. I'm going to say something controversial here, I believe that 99% of babies love to be swaddled. I've had several people I know tell me, "Oh, we tried it and my baby didn't like it." It might take some of them a few times to realize it, or you might need to try wrapping them a slightly different way, but I think that nearly all babies (I'll give a small allowance cause you should never say all or none of anything, right?) love to be snugly wrapped because it makes them feel secure; after all, they've just spent nearly 10 months in confined spaces! These blankets are my absolute (and my little ones') favorites, lightweight and breathable, plus large enough for me to wrap them in when they're bigger (I usually swaddle mine up to 9+ months) or use as a makeshift nursing cover.

//Babies R Us Gift Card//
What do I really need to say about Babies R Us? They're my go-to baby shop if I want to comparison shop any big ticket items, and my favorite place to register when I'm expecting a new little bundle. I think their registry benefits are unparalleled; a 10% registry completion certificate, the ability to earn money in the form of an eGift Card on purchases made from your registry, and up to a year to return items bought from your registry! Plus, they're always having great coupons and sales.

So, happy entering! And be sure to let any expecting or new mommas of little men (or little girls, they can wear blue and mustaches too!) know about this giveaway, because, sharing is caring people. :)

    1. Yes, although my son had a hard time at first... we tried explaining to him that we don't pick if we get a boy or girl, that Heavenly Father decides what our family needs. I told him "maybe next time", to which my husband shot me a look. :)

  18. Yayauayay!! Congratulations!!! I'm one of 3 girls, it was a WHOLE lot of fighting but a lot more fun growing up! HeheHe so excited for you guys, you had me in suspense with all the ........... !
    I love carters bibs they're the best and don't irritate the back of Elliott's head like other clasps do! And swaddling changed our lives! I will never non swaddle again! Any baby of mine will be swaddled from day 1, we went from a terrible cranky sleeper to a baby who slept all night, it was a miracle swaddle :)

      It's amazing to me how quickly my fussy babies will start calming down as soon as I begin to swaddle them, it's like Pavlov's dogs, they've become conditioned to it relaxing them. :)
