awesome homemade mac & cheese

The cooler weather always seems to make me want comfort food. "Hearty" food. Food that I should probably try to avoid, lol. Nevertheless, I do LOVE me some mac & cheese and I pretty much always make it homemade cause I usually have everything I need on hand and it doesn't take long at all.
My husband always wants to know if I put bacon in it, because to him everything is better with bacon. :)
Well, for this dish I've got to agree, the bacon and corn and cheese all together are delicious.
Just ignore the terrible lighting in these pictures (it gets dark so darn early!) and make some tonight!

      Yes, this is just one in our rotation as well. I have another kind that I make that has less ingredients, but it is not nearly as tasty! :)

    I like the addition of corn--that's neat! Mac and cheese has to be one of my favorite dishes. Can you believe our toddler likes nothing with cheese in it? Kids have strange tastes. ;-) Donella @ www.wifemomgeek.com
