4 gourmet grilled cheeses

(I received Reese's Spreads complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. All opinions are 100%, deliciously mine.)

We are fans of grilled cheese in our house, and it's not that uncommon to find us sitting down to dinner with some warm grilled cheese sandwiches with a side of soup or salad. Although our kids enjoy the standard bread-and-cheese route, Mike and I prefer more of a gourmet flavor to our grilled cheese. So today I'm sharing some of our favorite gourmet grilled cheeses, including a delicious dessert grilled cheese!

If you like pineapple or Hawaiian pizza then you will love this first one. You'll need Cheddar cheese, turkey (or ham) and some sliced pineapple. One bite will make you think you're in Hawai'i, without the expensive plane ticket. Okay, not quite, but it is a really delicious flavor combo!

This next one is inspired by a childhood snack I use to enjoy, wedges of apple with melted American cheese on top. Please tell me I'm not the only one. All you need is some American or Cheddar cheese and some very thinly sliced apples, no need to peel first.

This last savory grilled cheese might just be my favorite, and if you're like me and believe the barbecue sauce makes everything better, then it'll probably be your favorite too. Cheese of your choice, bacon (we always buy the good quality Kirkland bacon crumbles from Costco), and some barbecue sauce make this a winner because how can you go wrong with those three things?!

Lastly, I have a yummy dessert grilled cheese for you using some Reese's Spreads. If you haven't tried this yet, you really should. I was a bit skeptical at first, but the taste and texture is just like a Reese's, except without the time-consuming inconvenience of having to unwrap it! The dangerous thing is that it tastes amazing straight out of the jar.

Combining the classic taste of peanut butter and chocolate in the form of Reese's Spreads with some Mascarpone cheese and thinly sliced bananas makes this sandwich deliciously unique.

Do you have any other flavor combos that you just love?
