toasted almond ice cream

Well, as of tomorrow I am on my annual blog summer break! I love blogging, and I love y'all, but I always look forward to my month-long break in the summer to focus on my family and fun! As a "see ya soon!" gift, I have a delicious treat to help keep you cool for the rest of the hot summer!

When the hubs and I got married he introduced me to Fenton's and toasted almond ice cream, and my life has never been the same. :)

If you don't happen to live near a Fenton's or Leatherby's, don't worry, you too can experience this miracle of dairy right at home!
Dry roast some almonds and toss them into some almond ice cream and what have you got (besides the need for an EpiPen if you happen to be allergic to nuts)...
..deliciousness, that's what. Pure and utter cool, tasty goodness.

Mike and I both agree the best way to enjoy this treat is with caramel topping. REAL caramel topping, not some cheap imitation from your local supermarket. Homemade is good, but if you can get your hands on some Fenton's or Leatherby's caramel then you are in for a real treat.

Well, that's it for me until September! Feel free to email me regarding special orders, I'll still be filling them; and I've already been planning fun things to share with you so don't stay away! Some ideas I have swirling around in my head are:
