diy folded business cards

So, here's the thing. It's been a year since I made my last business cards, and I've been out again for awhile. I really was going to order some... but... I'm just not ready to commit. You know, I'm in the middle of redesigning stuff on this little blog o' mine, I'm still vacillating over if I want to do a Facebook page or not... and I'd hate to shell out money for cards and then have them be obsolete in a few months. Which is actually a good thing, because I stepped it up with my cards this time and I LOVE THEM!
For real, yo.

I got all fancy up in here with a QR code that takes you to my homepage. And yes, it really works.
And yes, my heart did a little pitter-patter when I tried it out the first time.

I really liked how {these} cards had a little personalized description on them and I wanted to do something kind of like that for these cards. Making these cards fold so that all this information is inside, keeps the outside nice and simple.
But you know I had to add a little something special to set them apart, so a small vinyl decal (I picked two shapes, a heart and a bird) seemed perfect, since this is supposed to be a place where crafty things happen. How perfect is it that the backing of the vinyl is blue? I think the Kraft paper, and the blue and white look so nice together, and work well with the colors on my blog. :)

It's funny, because after I had decided what I was going to do with my cards, I stumbled across {these}. Funny, huh? And if you want some serious business card eye candy, just search "business cards" on her website, there are some amazing ones!
