With Mother's Day coming up I decided it was time to have
another bathtub painting party for my little budding artists. I pulled out finger paints in varying shades of pink, purple, aqua, and blue and let them go to town on two blank photo mats I had. They had a great time, although they seemed to get much more paint on the bathtub then the photo mats. :)
I thought that hand-painted photo mats would be a cute Mother's Day gift for grammies from my little munchkins.
After the photo mats were dry I applied a quote from
James E. Faust that I cut out of navy vinyl: "The influence of a mother in the lives of her children is beyond calculation."
But the photo mats look just as cute without the quote, so if you don't have a die cut machine, no worries!
