Did everyone have a great Valentine's Day? I know I did, it was one of those magical days where somehow I had enough time to do everything I needed to do and get the little dove and myself dressed up and ready for when daddy got home.
It's kind of become our tradition to stay in and order dinner from somewhere so I don't have to spend all day cooking or cleaning (it's my Valentine's too!); but I did make some Valentine's goodies, or as my son calls them, "nummies nummies" (yummies yummies), aren't kids the cutest?? First I made some red velvet mini cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. I used my beloved Bismarck #230 frosting tip to fill them with hot fudge, delicious. Then I made some chocolate covered strawberries too. Cause it's Valentine's Day and you gotta, right? :) A layer of white chocolate, then milk chocolate (Ghirardelli of course) and lastly I drizzled pink tinted white chocolate and more milk chocolate on top, drizzling is my favorite part of making chocolate dipped strawberries!
These treats together with the red velvet ice cream the hubby made the night before were some delicious goodies to have while enjoying a movie after our little man went to bed. Did y'all overindulge in sweets too, or was it just me?
